I grew up in a military family that moved around a lot. Of all of the places I’ve been to, spending summers at Ocean Isle Beach with extended family and friends was always my favorite. When the time came to put down roots in a place that felt like home, I knew Brunswick County was the place.
I’ve lived here since 1997, so I’m familiar with the area. I’ve raised two wonderful children here, so I’m familiar with the schools, parks, and opportunities available to families. My 20-year career as an educator at Cape Fear Community College has taught me to listen and respond to the needs of the people who rely on me for information.
